Tourism Improvement District - Assessment

The City of Tulsa welcomes you to its Tourism Improvement District (TID) Community page. The City is pleased to announce that the Improvement District has been reinstated. The Tulsa City Council voted to adopt the annual assessment roll on properties with hotels of 110 or more rooms, effective August 1, 2021. This TID plan was initiated by Tulsa Regional Tourism together with members of the local hotel community. The TID assessment of 3% will be used to enhance tourism and provide benefits directly to those hotels within the Improvement District.

The City has contracted with HdL Companies, located in Fresno, CA, to provide assistance to the community for all of their TID needs. The HdL Companies Lodging Tax Processing Center will provide the lodging community with support for all aspects of TID, including assessment filing, payment, and general support. Beginning September 1, 2021, please file your TID assessment reports and payments with the Lodging Tax Processing Center.

Improvement District Assessment returns for hotels located in the Tourism Improvement District can now be submitted via mail, e-mail, online, and by phone to simplify your monthly reporting. To submit your assessments online please click the “Start Now” button found above and select the “File and Pay TID” option to begin your monthly filing process.
